Important Dates and Deadlines
The following dates are for the 2024-2025 Admission Cycle, for September 2025 entry.

| October 10, 2024 | ORPAS online application opens. |
| November 8, 2024 4:15 pm – 5:00 pm (ET) |

| December 25, 2024 – January 3, 2025 | McMaster University will be closed over this period. Emails to askot@mcmaster.ca will not be answered during this time. |
| January 6, 2025 | Last day to submit application to ORPAS. |
| January 30, 2025 | ORPAS must receive initial transcripts for all course work to date. |
| March 3, 2025 | Kira Talent Interview invitations sent out with link to pay the $55 CND (non-refundable) Kira Interview Fee. Applicants who are not moving forward in the application process will also be notified via email. |
| March 7, 2025 | Accommodation requests for the Kira Talent Interview due to the Program Coordinator (askot@mcmaster.ca). |
| March 7, 2025 | Kira Talent Interview Fee due by 4:00 pm ET. Failure to pay the fee will result in the termination of the invitation to interview. The fee is non-refundable. |
| March 10, 2025 | Links to the Kira Talent Interview will be sent to applicants who paid the fee. Applicants have two weeks to complete their interview. No extensions will be provided. |
| March 23, 2025 | Kira Talent Interviews close. Applicants must have completed their interview and submit it by this day. No extensions will be provided. |
| May 15, 2025 | Admission decisions will be emailed to applicants (via the School of Graduate Studies) using the email address provided in the ORPAS online application. |
| May 29, 2025 | First-round offers expire. |
| June 2, 2025 | Second round offers emailed (if applicable). Should any additional offers of admission be issued, they will be sent around 12:00 pm ET (noon) today. |
| June 6, 2025 at 11:59 pm (ET) | Provisional acceptances become firm acceptances. Second round offers expire. |
| June 30, 2025 | Deadline to submit payment of $500 non-refundable deposit to McMaster University.
Deadline to submit outstanding transcripts to ORPAS and to McMaster, with confirmation that your degree has been conferred (applicable only to those offered admission into the Program and who obtained credits after the fall term of that year, example completion of their degree). |
| July 14, 2025 | Deadline to submit Health Screen Record
Program fees, Police Check Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and CPR documents are due. |
